5th Grade Black - 2008 WOJFC Champions!!! |

| Team Pages | Congratulations to the 5th Grade Black Warriors and their win over the Huber Heights Red team in a 7-6 close game victory! On Sunday November 16th, the Warriors took it down to the last 3 minutes of the game before scoring the go ahead touchdown on a Kaleb Frankenburg 20 yard scramble. The game winning extra point scored by Cody Case on a 3-yard off tackle counter play gave the Warriors the 7-6 victory, and sealed their fate as Champions for 2008!! This was the first year that the 5th Grade Black team made it past the first round of playoffs, and it turned out to be their magic year as they took it all the way. After dedicating the past 12 years to coaching various Lebanon football teams, 5th Grade Head Coach Jack Sayer said after the game, “The boys did a great job today! They played really good football when it really counted. The defense stepped up, holding them at the goal line, and limiting Huber to just 6 points. I’m just so proud of how our boys played from the O-line to the Defense to the Special teams! They did it!!” | |

| Forms | Additionally, we’d like to congratulate the 3rd Grade White Team for being runner-up this year in the Championship! Our Warriors lost to the White team from Northmont 21-19. It was a grueling battle of ball possession, stout defense, and clock management. Unfortunately, we came up a little short, but it was a great game and we’re very proud of the effort the boys and coaches provided! Super Effort Boys!! | |

This year Lebanon had more teams pass through the first and second rounds of the WOJFC tournament than ever before in LWYFL history. It also marks the first year that Lebanon has had 2 teams in the championship finals. Thanks to ALL the coaches, ALL the players, and ALL the parents that have continued to make Lebanon Youth Football successful now and onward. | |
